What you’ll be doing:

  • Contract Management and Negotiation:
    Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts with clients and strategic partners. Ensure all agreements align with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards while fostering beneficial partnerships.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with a team of contract professionals, establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to evolving priorities with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Advisory Role:
    Provide management with insights into contractual rights and obligations. Offer clear interpretations and clarifications of contract terms and conditions to support informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms meet the needs of all parties. Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Risk Assessment and Reporting:
    Adhere to corporate Delegation of Authority framework, evaluating risks, securing necessary approvals, and documenting deviations from business standards. Communicate these deviations effectively to stakeholders.

Who you’ll work with:

  • Contract Administration team members including: Director of Contract Administration, Senior Contract Managers, Contract Managers, General Counsel, and Privacy Officer
  • Intermediate and C-level internal management
  • Intermediate level external management

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years’ experience in software and SaaS customer contract management and negotiation in a tech organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using and navigating CRM database systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite or D365.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with software and hardware corporate revenue recognition issues, legal concepts regarding software contracts and licensing such as limitations of liability, indemnification, warranties, etc.
