Title: Contracts Manager– Contracts Administration

Location: Remote within the US

We are looking for a bright, energetic professional with an interest in the preparation and facilitation of customer agreements, in addition to assisting with RFP responses, and customer edits to agreements as requested. This includes working closely with technical services staff, product development, product management, procurement, sales, and Legal team members on contract matters. The Contracts Manager is supervised by a Sr Contracts Manager and has no direct reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities include the drafting and facilitation of software agreements and ensuring compliance of legal terms and conditions. The CM will play an integral role in the success of the group. Specifically, they will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and negotiating of NDA’s, beta, updating quotes, software license agreements, professional services agreements, contract addenda and reseller and partner agreements.
  • Reviewing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, offering appropriate alternatives to contract terms and conditions.
  • Review and resolve issues impacting company compliance and ensuring satisfaction of legal requirements of Company’s objectives.
  • Interpret contract policies, operating practices, and performance standards within the Contracts Team.
  • Such other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College graduate with a Bachelors-level degree or higher.
  • Demonstrate an interest learning the development, negotiation, and execution of customer contracts.
  • Work well in a “team” environment.
  • Desire to succeed in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Must be self-motivated, independent, and highly efficient while working in a remote setting with the abilityto handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism.
  • Ability to be proactive, prioritize and work under tight deadlines in a service oriented and aggressive sales driven environment. Speed and accuracy are essential requirements for this position.
  • Proven analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years or more of experience in contract management; will consider recent law-school graduates.
  • Sharepoint and CRM experience a plus.
  • Higher Ed, Public Sector, or Fintech contracts experience a plus.
