Role:
- Improve and maintain operator driven and self-service Android applications for target POS hardware
- Responsible for design and development of system components and features across the product stack
- Integrate and support first and third-party hardware peripherals
- Integrate and support interaction with REST APIs
- Provide support throughout the SDLC process, including design, implementation, quality assurance, and post release.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies
- Possess the aptitude to quickly learn and contribute to our complex platform
- Work within a cross functional agile team
- Mentors others on the team at all levels of experience
- Raise process improvement opportunities
About you:
- 3+ years of Android development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Gradle, Android Studio, Android SDK
- Experience with source control management, unit tests, and code review
- Strong team player
- Has a track record of achieving goals, meeting deadlines, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
- Excellent communication and documentation skills who can summarize and relay all news to stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile processes, specifically the Scrum framework
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with hardware interactions with Android
- Experience with CI/CD, pipelines and quality gates
- Experience working with global teams a plus!
What you’ll be doing: As an Associate Implementation Consultant at CBORD, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in conducting both on-site and remote implementations. Your pivotal role includes training clients and providing best practice recommendations to guarantee their success.
- Execute on-site and remote implementations of CBORD solutions
- Provide comprehensive training and share best practice recommendations
- Verify and validate interface connectivity
- Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure client satisfaction
- Create detailed documentation, including agendas, status reports, and implementation plans
- Offer support and review operations to align with best practices
- Coordinate technical support as needed
- Achieve revenue and billable utilization targets
- Continuously develop and expand knowledge of CBORD systems and supporting tools
