Role Highlights:

As the Sr. FP&A Manager for the Campus ID and Commerce P&Ls, you will be the key finance partner for the SVP/Business GM. The Sr. FP&A Manager will own the analysis and reporting on: Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and Gross Profit (GP) for the P&Ls. The candidate will be a highly analytical individual and have the ability to partner and collaborate with the sales and supply chain teams with the daily operations of the company and help with strategic decision making. The Sr. FP&A Manager will also partner in the preparation of sales and volume forecasts including Short Range Outlooks (SROs), reoccurring forecast cycles, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). The position will be responsible with owning the financial functions of the ongoing development of financial reporting process and systems related to Revenue, COGS, and GP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Business Unit leadership to prepare their detailed annual Budget and to build monthly, quarterly, and annual Forecasts.
  • Preparing monthly analysis that highlight key drivers of variances vs. the Plan, Forecast, prior months, and prior year. Overseeing Accounting and Finance on the monthly close as well as in performing ad hoc analysis related to the Product P&L
  • Direct ad-hoc analysis and reporting on portfolio revenue and profitability by customer, and product
  • Providing financial support for operations review meetings that highlight financial and key performance indicator (KPI) performance.
  • Developing business cases for new initiatives/Products focusing on structuring it in a way to maximize the financial benefits while factoring in the operational impacts on the organization.
  • Assist with developing Executive Leadership Team presentations.
  • Summarizes the financial status of the organization; performs financial modeling, interprets asset ratios, calculates profit margins, operating costs and other metrics used in measuring fiscal stability helping business leaders make data and financially driven business decisions.
  • Communicates with engineering, product management, marketing, HR, IT, and other departments on matters of budget approval and ROI for specific projects.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field and 5-10 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis, preferably in a SaaS or technology company. An MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with a focus on financial modeling and the use of advanced features of spreadsheets
  • Highly organized and can work on multiple projects at once
  • A high level of analytical ability and accuracy
  • Significant user experience with financial planning and ERP software. Knowledge of D365 FinOps and/or Data rails a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • A team player and ability to build relationships and work across the organization
  • A strategic and analytical thinker with superior problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep Knowledge of SaaS Metrics: in-depth understanding of key SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, CAC, expansion, retention, churn rates, and renewal rates.
  • Experience with ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.
  • Continuous Improvement: A proactive approach to improving financial processes and systems.
