Title: Product Manager

Location: Remote US

The Responsibilities: The company is seeking a Product Manager (PM) for our Campus ID platform that encompasses reselling products from market leading door access control product providers along with integrations to Transact software products.

You will constantly improve and expand Transacts business of selling, installing and services door access related products with integrations to leading Transact products such as IDX and our market leading Mobile Credential.

Spend significant time engaging with customers, salespeople and technology partners to understand customer needs and market opportunities.
Leverage those learnings to persuade, guide and help create process and product improvements using wireless locks, door access, card readers and integrations to leading door access software and hardware providers.
Create, communicate and iterate on detailed requirements to the product development team creating or expanding door access related features or integrations.
Be the subject matter expert whose first to use new products, and guide others in learning to sell, install, and support security products.
Leverage your subject matter expertise to create content used by other departments at Transact.
Initiate process and product improvement activities

Who we are looking for:

REQUIRED - Technical experience with at least one leading door access software and hardware provider.
Knowledge of software product integration fundamentals, techniques and technology, especially using cloud technology.
Self-motivation to initiate products or product improvements that enable better security business performance
Excellent detail orientation when necessary, and judgement to moderate the level of detail.
Proven mixture of technical, business, and interpersonal skills to communicate and negotiate with co-workers, customers, vendors and technology partners.

Let’s break it down (a.k.a. Essential Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in a software technology related field or equivalent experience
REQUIRED - 5+ years of door access software and hardware experience. You can explain basic operation of at least one door access hardware and software system, including inbound data integration.
3+ years of experience with multi-vendor software experience, especially with cloud to on-premise.
