Payroll Administrator
Objective: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll or finance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple regions, ensuring global accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
- Maintain accurate employee payroll data; partner with HR and Finance for payroll alignment across countries
- Calculate wages, taxes, garnishments, deductions, bonuses, commissions, PTO, and termination payments
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and international tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies
- Prepare and file year-end tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, T4s, etc.)
- Lead global payroll reporting and audit readiness by maintaining proper documentation and records
- Oversee and update timekeeping systems; ensure accurate tracking of hours and leave across geographies
- Maintain payroll data integrity in UKG Core and conduct regular audits for accuracy
- Serve as point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, vendors, and external agencies
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of payroll workflows, with a focus on scalability and global consistency.
- 4+ years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance standards
- Proficient in UKG Payroll Services and payroll systems
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Payroll certification (e.g., CPP) is a plus
